Across the World for Pappa Willie

Please help us bring newborn Lucy and her family across the globe to meet her grandfather before it’s too late.

A little over five years ago, our incredibly strong Dad, Husband, Brother, Uncle, Pappa (Grandfather) and Friend Willie - started experiencing uncommon health symptoms.

At first, his knees started giving way, he developed a tremor, then he slowly lost motor control, it has progressed so far that he is unable to do anything unassisted. Only recently was he finally diagnosed with the rare neurological disorder “Corticobasal Degeneration.”

A few days ago, Willie had to be admitted to Hospital where he was found to have Pneumonia and Kidney failure.

Willie has had the opportunity to meet his first two Australian grandchildren. His third grandchild – Lucy – was born last month. As his health declines it would be a wonderful last chance to have these two generations meet as well as reconnect father and son.
