Support the Farrelly Family

One of my best friends Nicole has just returned home from a semester spent abroad in Africa, just in time to spend the holiday season with her family before she heads off for an adventure-filled second semester in Spain. Two days ago in a tragic and unexpected occurrence, the entirety of her family's home burnt down as a result of an electrical fire. Her mother, father, siblings, and little pooch Spangle are all thankfully safe. Though they are devoid of a home-base they are nonetheless united by the love and gratefulness felt in having survived this horrible incident. While others will occupy themselves with Christmas shopping and holiday traveling, this holiday season, Nicole and her family are forced to deal with a medley of unfortunate challenges that will ensue as a result of this accident.

Nicole is entirely fearless. She operates in a way that is unfathomable to most -- possessing a heightened regard for the people in her life, and consistently exuding an inherently selfless nature. She contributes so immensely to the positive way in which her friends and family view the world; through her exemplary demonstration of love, compassion, and commitment to freedom she amplifies the confidence of virtually everyone she meets.

I hope to show her the same love and support that she has shown me.
