A Right To Be A father

Hello world!
I thought I would give this a shot after seeing some of the causes people are using this site for. It's not easy asking for help but now that I am a father, priorities change and I must do everything that I can to be there for my daughter.
After having an argument with my ex girlfriend that resulted in separation, I had a daughter and she excluded me from everything. She went back with her ex-husband and I found out through friends that she had given birth to my daughter Audrey. She didn't allow me to be part of her birth and she doesn't even have my last name! When I found out I tried to reason with the mother and expressed my interest in being a part of our child's life. She didn't give me a chance. I did the next best thing I could think of and went to court to get a paternity test to make sure that I was the father. I was so happy it came back positive. I was a father of a beautiful baby girl! That was the only time I was able to see my daughter, almost 2 years ago!
The judge said that we should work visitation out and since then I have never recieved an answer from her. Unfortunately, my contract ended with my job and had to move back to my home state to figure out a way to pay for child support and my personal bills. I am currently looking for a better job and trying to go back to school. I really would love to see my child but I need money for a lawyer to help me with this process. I just want to be part of her life. I want her to have two parents. I want to teach her things and watch her grow. She is the only kid that I have. I feel like I have been robbed. I have missed so much!
So, I come to the internet asking for any help that I can get. This happened in Indiana and any advice would be helpful as well. I am a young father trying to do the right thing. While paying for child support and personal bills I don't make enough for a lawyer. All I want to do is have the right to be a part of her life.
