Melissa and David's Baby Boy!

This fundraising effort is for our dear friend Melissa and her family. Melissa is due with her second child in February 2015. In Spring 2014, Melissa, her husband and 5 year old son moved from California to South Dakota to be closer to family. Melissa continued to work as a Registered Nurse in California, and has been commuting to work on a monthly basis (as many RNs in California do!!)

In early November, Melissa (26 weeks pregnant) was hospitalized for high blood pressure and worsening headaches. The doctors want to keep a close eye on her, and have advised she stay in California until delivery. She does not have permanent housing in California and her husband and son are currently in South Dakota.  

There will be housing costs, hospital bills and travel expenses. Hopefully, with this fund, money will be the last thing on Melissa's mind as she continues to carry her baby to term! 

Melissa would be the first to help out her friends and family if needed. She has worked all over the U.S. as an RN, taking excellent care of many patients throughout her career. Melissa is very humble and would never ask for monetary assistance on her own. Please be generous!
