Today my sister lost her battle with cancer. SHe was a shooting star and touched thousands of lives in the form of her students, coworkers, friends, family, and everyone who had the opportunity to know and love Nicki in her 31 years. We will miss her tremendously and cry rivers in mourning her but we will never forget her and always celebrate all the good she brought into the world. Thank you all so much for the support you have shown in these past months. Please continue to pray for her soul and for her husband and sons. She will be watching over us all and smiling down. Love ya kiddo!
We haven't updated in a while and I thought I'd give everyone an update. Nicki is hanging in there and taking it day by day. She has good days and bad days. The good days brighten everyone's day with hope and faith in God. I can't believe how strong my sister and family have been and thank God for every day we have to spend with Nicki. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers and don't give up hope that miracles can happen. We love you all.
Hey everyone! It's Nicki, I snatched the info to log on...I just wanted to Thank all of you. I have been overwhelmed by all of your donations, prayers, and love. It is amazing how many of you have opened up your hearts to us in this rough time! We have put the donations into a savings account. We are not touching it in case this course of treatments do not work. We would have to look outside our area to find some help. We are praying hard that won't have to happen, but are blessed to have the finances to do so if needed. That is a huge weight off our shoulders and that is all because you. So again, we love all of you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Love, Nicki
Big day tomorrow. Below is a post from Nicki's coworkers, Kristen White and Rachael Wells. The support she continues to get from so many different parts of her life is unbelievable. Please take a few moments tomorrow morning to say this prayer and keep Nick in your thoughts all day. Together we need to send strength her way. THank you Kristen, Rachael, all of you who continue to pray.
Friends and family, we need huge prayers right now for amazing Nicki Tecza Radosevic. Tomorrow she will try a new chemo combination. The fabulous Rachael Wells made this wonderful prayer that we would love for everyone to join in saying: "Lord, you are faithful and we surrender all this to you. Touch this treatment and guide it to heal and remove any illness in Nicki's body. We trust your purpose and ways. Help us to see them and give us your strength! We thank you for our every breath. Amen!" "” with Rachael Wells.
Not great news today. We are still positive Nicki will beat this thing. Please continue keeping her and the family in your thoughts and prayers. She starts a different chemo on Wednesday so please pray to God this one works.
Here is another example of how loved Nicki is. Click on the link below to see a great video of her fellow teachers and students doing a video tribute to Nicki. The next couple of weeks are going to be big, we need your prayers more than ever. Love you all!

Second round of chemo down for Nicki. A tough couple of days coming. Pray that God will protect her from the pain and sickness that comes after the chemo. Thankfully Nick, Scott, and the boys are headed to mom and dads for a little parental love. Thank you again for your continued support. We literally have thousands of people who have never even met Nicki who are sending their prayers through you all.
I haven't posted in a while and didn't want the prayers or kind words to stop. So far we have had 6219 hits on this page and I want to reach 10000 by week's end. We have had 196 people donate and every little bit helps. I am in awe every time I visit this page. Nicki News:
We just spent a long weekend with Nicki, Scott, and the boys in Disney. It was great to spend a "normal" weekend (as normal as you can get with 3 kids and 4 adults in one hotel room) and get away. Nicki is still in great spirits and is truly an inspiration. Other than being a little tired she really stuck it out for the "kids". While we are back in Charlotte, they are spending some more time with Mickey down in Disney. PLEASE keep your prayers and kind words coming as we are not done yet. The second round of chemo is approaching. Prayers do work!!!!
The amount of prayers, support, and money have been ovwhelming, but keep those prayers coming. Nicki's body is healing from the chemo and is very tired. Now is the time we all pray together to give her strength to help her body beat this thing into remission or submission! I think she would prefer the latter. We need to flood her with support!!! GO NICK!!! We love you kid!
Last day of chemo for two and a half weeks. Nicki is tired but positive. A big thank you to all of you who have offered prayers, well wishes, and donations. God is good. Keep those prayers coming, they do work!!!!
This page has been set up to help Nicki, Scott, Luke (2), and Zack (1) during this difficult time. Nicki has been diagnosed with cervical cancer that has spread to her liver, spleen, and bowel. We are battling this terrible disease together and need family and friends to help out with this huge financial burden of paying for growing medical costs, etc.
For those of you who don't know Nicki she is a kind and loving mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. She would be the first to give to anyone in need. She is a 4th grade teacher and has dedicated her life to giving to children and making this world a better place. She has two beautiful children, Lucas and Zachary, who are 2 and 1 respectively. We appreciate any help and support you can give them.
