Johnnie's Ukulele!!

Donation protected
My story began last year when a very dear friend of mine gave me Eddie Vedders Ukulele Songs album. At the time I was studying to be a sound engineer at Dark Horse Institute in Nashville Tennessee. I lived with the album for months before I realized that enclosed inside the vinyl lived a ukulele songbook containing the music for all of his songs. That winter I decided to buy a ukulele and learn every single song. I did just that and purchased a $100 uku from River City Music in Washington missouri, where I had been teaching guitar.

Since that day I have flourished in the joys of ukulele music! Writing my own material and playing with various people including an acoustic trio and most recently my friends from Ukin' in the woods :)!

I am here on Go Fund Me now because I have outgrown my ukulele. All of my love for this instrument cannot stop the fact that it goes out of tune easily, has poor intonation(where the notes go out of tune as you move down the neck), and that it has subpar tonal qualities which can only be obtained through a high quality instrument.

With the kind donations from everyone who visits this page I will purchase a genuine BoatPaddle Ukulele. These Ukes are of superior quality and are locally made about 20 minutes from my hometown!! Once the ukulele has been purchased I will have the tools to record a legitimate ukulele album of which all donators will be credited as a producer, if they so wish!! Thank you so much for reading my story and have a beautiful day!! :)
