Jackie Murray’s Medical Expenses

Our beloved Jackie is in the midst of an extremely rare type of cancer, TPLL Leukemia. The medical bills are rising with upfront costs. Her amazing husband Jimm can only do so much, foremost to take care of his oh-so-greatly-loved wife, and secondly to work to provide for their household expenses. Jackie and Jimm have kept a STRONG faith in Jesus and they know that God is in control.

Here is their story:
“Jackie and I have been married for 45 years. We have faced joy and adversity and other medical problems throughout that time.
We have worked hard together and just recently began to learn about investing in Real Estate. We paid for this schooling.
Then this leukemia struck. It sort of took the wind out of our sails but the debt is still there.
And now on top of that despite a good insurance and Medicare, the medical bills are starting to rise. In the New Year we will have to pay more upfront before the rest of the insurance kicks in.
If it happens, there will be end of life expenses.
We have kept a strong faith in Jesus and still have it despite this disease and continued attacks against our faith. We know God will make lemonade out of lemons. He is in control.
Jackie has a great concept – Jesus is with her now. If she dies she will be with Jesus. Win win situation.
We are now facing the worst adversity (adversary) that we have ever faced, TPLL Leukemia. It is extremely rare and aggressive.
Our insurance and supplements do a pretty good job, but they don’t pay for all of the treatment. One of her chemo treatments is about 5K. So we are thinking the bills will run into the 50K range. After the treatments I’m sure the bills will keep coming in for several months.
