Our daughter Angel Rayne was born 8 weeks early  at 2 pounds 13 ounces  and Pl0whas HRHS( Tricuspid Atresia, pulmonary stenosis, ASD,VSD, and hypo plastic Right Ventricle) Diabetes, and we were told for 3and a half months that she had Biliary Atresia. We knew about her heart problems from the first ultrasound when I was almost 5months pregnant. The plan was to do her heart surgeries when she was born. That couldnt happen becauseAngel was 2 lbs. Angel was getting worst, her.  some how  we found out she has diabetesThe.n  at 6 weeks old they told us she had a liver defect and still was only 5' which was biliary atresia. At this point the doctors decided there was nothing they could do for Angel. No matter what I said or did was changing anything so I made the brave choice of taking her home on hospice so I could figure a way to get her to Boston Childrens hospital. thanks to the donations and the willpower we rode on the Amtrak ( we both had our own seat that reclined back) we were on the train for 3 days.til we arrived in  Boston and  walked  into the ER and handed her over to them, and said "please help my daughter! it was like a scene out of the movies; doctors running around like crazy trying to do everything they could you see the Angel life. Angel was admitted to the Cardiac Intensive care, where she would only be there about a month before she would get really sick and have to turn around and go back to the 11th floor.
They did her first heart surgery  on oct. 30th, 2014. She was sedated and paralyzed for 14 days after surgery. They left her chest open just in case of swelling, which she recovered amazingly.
Her second heart surgery came went so fast ( it was the Glenn Procedure) she did amazing!
She was back to same old Angel as soon as she woke up. She is definitly a strong little girl, my little princess.
My hubby went into see my daughter after her surgery and he just sat by her side held her hand and wept, and so many goodbyes. After 11 years togathet and 5 children ages from 13 to one and a ong trip ahead of him and so did we!
After she healed from hER heart  surgery , it was time to make some decisions, where would be the best place to raise Angel, I thought the best place would be in Phoenix, AZ since my other kids were there staying with inlaws. The hospital flew me out to Arizona and set me up in a hotel room for a week and then the Ronald McDonald House for a week he was only supposed to be a day or two till angel got there after me but somehow the paperwork got messed up and she didn't arrive for almost 3 weeks. She was admitted into Los Ninos hospital which is the smaller hospital that helps children and babies get ready to be discharged from the hospital after being in a hospital for so long even some of them, most just like Angel. We were there for a month. In all the meantime my hubby decided to cheat and act like he was 18 again, I focused on Angel and that was it. The state of Arizona thought differently they saw a single mom that could not take care of a medically complex child like angel all by herself. So the day that we finally got discharged the State came in and took her from me now I see her twice a week in Mesa an hour drive away for 2 hours each and I miss her so much. They are now saying I have medically neglected my daughter, which is so rediculous, I was the one begging drs. To look at Angel and take care of her. We were in Boston for 10 months, a long time for my babies to be with grandparents and away from  parents.
I saw Angel, and she doesn't look like she feels well. She has now been placed in a   medically fragile group home in Mesa that I go to visit Miss Angel. twice a week..We have trial in feb. And our plan is to be in our own place by february. We would really appreciate any help we can get. We have had it hard since we moved here to phoenix/Glendale and I'm hoping we can get over it all.                                                                             Thank you.
