Flowater Refill Station at Cal High

Introduction
Hi, my name is Ellen Lyons, and I am a senior at California High School in San Ramon, CA. I work at an elementary school that currently uses a Flowater station in the gymnasium, and after seeing (and tasting) how great the machine's water is, I knew I wanted to bring Flowater to Cal High. I am working with Mrs. Cranford, our Principal, to install two of these machines on campus (in the main building).

Why Flowater?
One of the coolest trends to appear at  Cal High would have to be the popularity of carrying a reusable water bottle around! Unfortunately, students often bring these bottles and do not fill them up until they get home. It is very difficult to fill a bottle up with the current water fountain situation at Cal High (and many other high schools). This is a problem that a Flowater Refill Station will fix! Students simply place their bottle under the spout, and press a button to fill it. It is a much faster (and cleaner!) way to refill bottles. One great part about the Flowater Refill Station is that the current water fountains will not have to be removed! For students who do not have a container to fill, the existing fountains will still be available.

In Summary
•Flowater Refill Stations will be placed on the first and second floors of the main building at Cal High.
•Refill stations provide a faster, healthier, and more efficient way to get water during school hours.
•If I can fund ONE Refill Station, Mrs. Cranford has agreed to fund the other! Two stations would provide more students with access to cold, refreshing water.
