Vet bills for our fur baby

Our fur baby, Flacco, is 5 years old and has a really bad bacterial infection that has partially paralized him.  We had to take him into an emergency pet hospital on Thanksgiving, which was very expensive. We do have a pet plan with our normal vet, but emergency pet hospitals are not covered. We took him in the next day to our normal vet, where they took labs and examined him. They want us to do radiological tests, which aren't covered either. Our out of pocket costs have been more than we can handle. Just recently we had to put down our beloved black lab who was 13 and a half, who had an enlarged spleen. They were the best of buds, and he has been depressed since then. Our hearts just break when we see him fall over, just doing something as simple as peeing. We love Flacco beyond words, and have humbled ourselves to ask for help.
