Get Bessie the Truck fixed!!

Horses, Hope & Healing is a non-profit program located in Del Paso Heights, Sacramento, CA, that pairs low-income, at-risk youth with horses to get the kids off the streets and involved in a program that helps to build self esteem, family values, hard work, and dedication.

After being out of commission for almost two years due to lack of funds, Bessie the Horses, Hope & Healing ranch truck needs $2600 worth of work in order to get running for this summer's show season! This includes:
- new clutch
- two new batteries (including one that was stolen while the truck was out of commission)
- rewelding the exhaust system (it's currently loose and hitting the drive shaft)
- new drive belt
- new parking brake cable
- repair the electrical to fix the running lights and the third brake light
- repair a leaking rear axle

The most wonderful John Ellis Automotive in downtown Sacramento is donating $800 worth of work, and an anonymous donor will match up to $800 in other donations.


The final $100 is to cover the transaction fees that GoFundMe and WePay charge us for running this fundraiser.
