First Contact Sewing Shop

Just about 3 years ago, I started making wallets, bags, and accessories from magazines, comics, old game manuals, and maps - anything paper. After a few months of playing around with the technique and designing some pieces I began setting up a small table at our local Saturday artist's market. I started getting a following fairly quickly and before long my quirky little hobby became a full time gig. 

I started doing local shows and conventions, making everything at an old desk in my kitchen. This past April, I was lucky enough to earn a permanent spot at Flying Monkey Arts. It's a wonderful space that will allow me to expand my line and offer classes. I am so excited for the opportunity to grow and want to start teaching the technique as soon as possible. 

This is where you come in. To expand operations and begin teaching the technique I need to be able to purchase machines and pay my assistant enough to make coming in during the week worth her time. While I will be able to reach this goal eventually, it'll be years before I can make the dream a reality without your help.
