Fire destroys all, help us rebuild

Donation protected

In the early morning hours of Sunday, January 28, 2018, the White family lost their home to a house fire. Tony and Kathi White are residents of Breaux Bridge, LA and have lived in this home for the past 23+ years. This home held a lifetime of belongings and memories that are now in ashes. Tony and Kathi have raised multiple children and grand children in this home. Tony is a Vietnam Veteran of The United States Marines Corps and a retired trucking dispatcher. Kathi is a Licensed Practical Nurse in a local Primary Care Physicians office. They have always had an open door to anyone and have never turned anyone away. Children, grandchildren, friends, and friends of friends have come and gone freely on a regular basis. Four of their grandchildren were living with them at the time of the fire. Only 2 were present during the fire. A friend of one of the grandchildren was also there. Luckily, only one person, Tony, sustained injuries. He received 3rd degree burns to his head, hand, and forearm. The origin of the fire is unknown at this time. The home is a total loss and they had no insurance. Please keep this family in your prayers and donate if at all possible. If you are unable to donate, please share this post at the very least. Thank you.
