Fire Island Restoration Project

On October 29, 2012 the entire East Coast was trampled by Sandy. We are here to raise awareness and capital to assist with the restoration efforts of Fire Islands Communities (which includes but is not limited to) their associated businesses, citizens, bay fronts and beach fronts.

We have set up this site for all of our Fire Island friends, families, and neighbors who are looking to contribute to this great cause that are unable to attend the "got dunes" event on February 10th at the Nutty Irishman in Bay Shore.

"got dunes" is solely a social media marketing campaign to create buzz for this particular fundraiser. Funds raised will get split up evenly amongst all accepting community associations for "replenishment purposes" (i.e. dune fencing, crossover materials, dune grass, or other commodities).

 

All accepting community association elected members are expected to agree upon the means to extract the donated money for "replenishment" purposes stated above.

If you are a local or even out of town business that would like to contribute merchandise, and/or gift certificates for our chinese and silent auctions we are still accepting donations. (we currently have a 30 minute helicopter ride over fire island, sports tickets, and a Puerto Rico Vacation to name a few).
