Help us start our family

My name is Joshua Schmidt and my wifes name is Arwen Huckabay.  We have decided to start our family but have run in to a few issues.

After seeing a male fertility specialist it turns out that I have an issue with low motility.

My wife also suffers from osteogenesis imperfecta (also known as brittle bone disorder).  This genetic disorder is a dominate gene and we are very worried about passing it down to any of our children so we have decided to try in vitro fertilization (IVF).

We do have medical insurance with my company, but they no longer cover IVF treatments as they are considered voluntary and not a mandatory procedure.

The total cost of the treatment we will need to get its upwards of $30,000 and we are looking to try and get a loan for that, but any donations would be greatly appreciated.
