Help Maddie Fight Lymphoma

Maddie is a 6 year old female boxer. I got Maddie when she was 8 months old from someone who was moving and could not take her with them. As soon as I layed eyes on her, I knew she would be mine. She is not just my dog, but my entire families dog.  She has been a devoted companion and best friend since we got her. She is such a crazy and fun loving dog.  Her favorite thing to do is go on car rides.

In September, my Mom noticed a small lump on Maddie's neck. After a few vet visits and a biopsy, they said Maddie had a bad infection and we received two of the strongest antiobiotics available. In the meantime, her lymph nodes in her leg, neck, and chest were all swollen. She got sick everyday with the antibiotics and they did not seem to be working. We then took Maddie to another vet for a second opinion. The vet took another needle aspiration and Maddie was diagnosed with Lymphoma 11/22/14.

We are all devastated with this terrible news. After a lot of research and talking with our new vet, although there is no cure, there is treatment. We have decided that chemotherapy is our best option for Maddie. She has nearly a 100% chance of going into remission, which is great news! Unfortunately, chemo requires 9 weeks of treatment and is costly.

We hope Maddie can eventually live the rest of her life as the happy and healthy pup she has always been. If we would choose not to do the chemo, she would have less than two months. She is part of our family and we couldn't imagine losing her. Please help Maddie and our family fight this terrible cancer together. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
