Joe Evans and a battle with M.S

Donation protected
My name is Joseph Evans and I was diagnosed in 1997 with M.s. Unfortunately after being misdiagnosed for years and on every single M.S drug out there I was finally seen by a Nuerologist that definitely knows all about m.s and the different types. Unfortunately for me there is no feel better or slow the progression down pill . I have been under a bad attack for the past few years now and am now confined to a power wheelchair. I worked very very hard my whole life as a union cement mason here in Phoenix and in Portland, and was told a long time ago to stop but I had a family to support and their needs were my first priority. I am now on disability and it's nothing compared to what I was making, but at least it's something!! My Nuerologist Dr. LORI TRAVIS at Arizona Nuerologist institute told me about a device that is making a major mark in the m.s world so I went in to try it out. I started to cry, my shoulders went back , my back was straight and for once in a very long time I was able to walk on my own, and be the man I once was so long ago even if it was just for a moment. . Its called Bioness and what it does is amazing. They are bands that go around your calves and thigh and send pulses to your nerves that tells your brain to pick up your feet. I have tried to get my insurance to cover this but unfortunately it's not covered and being almost $8,000.00 a piece and on disability well let's just say it's just not going to happen.I'm asking any and all of you that view this that even if it's a quarter to help me try to make this dream of mine become reality, so that I can be the man I once was. I have worked hard my whole life and I was a great husband, Father, and friend. Please if you can find it in your hearts to help me be the man I once was and play ball with my son again before it's to late I would be forever in your debt and always in your hearts. I'm trying to raise enough money for the 4 bioness bands and a handicap accessible vehicle so that I can get out in the world and be happy again, get to my doctor's ,and most of all to be able to play some ball with my boy. I know that that might sound a little corny, but I was his baseball coach for a long time and nothing would make me happpier then to be able to play ball and see some concerts together. Thank you for your time in reading this that alone means more then any words can say. God bless! Joseph Evans
