Fielder's Choice will be an interactive baseball simulation playable on iOS and Android devices that is tremendously fun and exciting for players of all levels. Simply put, we are designing the app expressly for the purpose of teaching our youth how to make fast, intelligent decisions in every scenario.
"Where's the play infielders?" If you are a coach, this phrase is almost as well used as "baseball ready!" Downtime between plays and in particular between touches of the baseball make it difficult for children to stay engaged. Yet, it takes engagement and many touches for children to develop good instincts and see how their focused attention and critical thinking can really impact the game for their team. Our theory is this: Kids will enjoy the game more when they can see how their right and wrong decisions affect a play and the course of a game. More enjoyment will result in more engagement and ultimately faster skill building both on and off the field.
We would like to invite you to join our team in this endeavor. We have self-funded our conceptual design and will have a wireframe demo shortly. Funds raised here will be used in two ways: 1) kick off detailed programming efforts and 2) demonstrate to investors that their is a real need to fill here.
