Dear Neighbor:
As we approach on our 46th year of volunteer service we are asking for your help to ensure that our mission of saving lives and rendering medical aid to people continues.
Our volunteers are available around the clock, seven days a week and receive no pay in return for their hours of service. Last year we answered over 300 calls for help and transported nearly 200 people in need of medical care to local hospitals. All of these calls were answered AT NO CHARGE to the patient. It is by your generosity that we are able to provide these much needed volunteer services.
In order to continue our work, this campaign has a goal of raising $100,000. That is a modest amount considering our coverage area, which has a population of over 100,000 people. The expenses incurred by operating this volunteer agency are upwards of $150,000 per year.
We lost one of our two ambulances the on December 29th. Please help us replace it!
