If you have known Kim, myself and our four boys for any length of time you will recall that we arrived in Puebla Mexico in February 2010 as long term missionaries with Camino Global (formaly known as CAM International). How quickly time has flown by!
When we arrived in Mexico we had a BIG vision of using martial arts to disciple others and to share our love for Christ. We had no clue as to how God would use us. It has been four and a half amazing years and all we can say is WOW! We are so honored to be your hands and feet serving our mighty Godhere in Puebla. Over the last couple of years we have been blessed to host a few teams. We've seen God grow our martial arts ministry and we are part of a wonderful church plant. We have been witnesses to 12 people declaring Christ as their Savior and 22 people being baptized.
God is good!
The reason you are receiving this is because Kim and I have some personal needs. Yes, they are financial needs that we have tried to prepare for. Yet due to unexpected dental work and vehicle repairs we have not been successful. This is where we need your help.
On November 20th we need to renew our visas for the family. The cost of visas for our family will be $2,500. Before we can get our visas done we need to import our 2001 GMC Yukon or take it out of Mexico. If we take back to the US that will leave us without a vehicle. The cost for importing the Yukon will be approximately $2,800. That includes the importation fees and the round trip to the border.
Another need that has come up has been for a second vehicle. While the martial arts ministry persay doesn't require much vehicle use there are other ministries – like serving the church plant, bible studies, Youth group & outings. Football and rock climbing ministries that require extra vehicles to transport. We believe we could buy a good used vehicle here in Mexico for approximately $6,000.
Kim and I covet your prayers! We ask that you pray for our need and also to give what God places on your heart to give. Is it? $10, 20 or more.
