Hi. We (The Class Acts) were robbed during the early morning hours on Sunday, October 5.
For those of you that know us as friends or as fellow musicians, you know that we take what we do very seriously and are eternally grateful that we are able to play music in the first place. Having the right gear is part of being able to do that, and unfortunately, somebody decided that they needed our stuff more than we do.
After returning from a show in Holland, MI, we left some of our equipment in a locked vehicle in the back-lot behind our house, where there are several motion-sensing lights and a high intensity halogen light providing ample visibility (a relatively safe spot). The theif smashed the window of the car and took the following items:
(1) Alesis Multimix 8 USB mixing board
(1) AKG dynamic microphone
(3) XLR to XLR cables, 25 ft
(2) 1/4" to 1/4" cables, 25 ft
(1) TC Electronics Flashback Delay/Looper Guitar Pedal
(1) ElectroHarmonix Big Muff Bass Pedal
(1) Fender Guitar Tuner Pedal
(2) No-Name dynamic vocal microphones
(1) Way Huge Swollen Pickle Fuzz Guitar Pedal
(1) Tama Snare Stand
(1) Tama Iron Cobra Double Bass Pedal
(1) Breakbeats Snare Stand
(1) Tama Straight Cymbal Stand
(1) Sound Percussion Boom Cymbal Stand
(1) Tama RoadPro Straight Stand
Various other cables, extension cords, and assorted PA accessories
Without this gear (most of which was from our personal PA system), we cannot rehearse properly or play shows that require us to bring a PA. Thankfully, the theif was in a hurry and left alone several other essential pieces of our equipment, but we are still at a huge loss and need whatever help we can get.
Anything at all will help. We plan on buying used gear replacements for all of the lost equipment with money from this campaign and from future shows. And, for anybody living in or around the Kalamazoo Vine Neighborhood area, any information on the above items would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you so much - see you all soon.
