FG III Memorial Scholarship Fund

On May 3rd, 2013 Officer Frederick Garrasi III was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident. He was only 24 years old at the time of his passing. He had just recently been promoted to a full time patrolman with the Town of Evans Police Department. In Freddy's short 24 years he was a large part of his community and impacted so many people with his charming smile, hardworking attitude, and witty personality.
June 21, 2015 will be the third annual FG III Memorial 5K run. All money raised at the event will be placed into an annual scholarship fund given to two graduates of the Lake Shore Central School District that exemplify Freddy's compassionate and hard working characteristics.
Every year, many people ask us how they can contribute to the race and/or to the scholarship fund if they are unable to make it on race day. Donations will be accepted through this go fund me account for those who are unable to be with us on June 21st.
