Victims of Billings Car Crash

(Monday, May 25) Three members of a Great Falls family are in the hospital after a head-on crash along Highway 3 near Acton, north of Billings.

The Montana Highway Patrol tells us the crash happened on Monday after a passenger vehicle with three occupants, including an infant, attempted to pass another vehicle.

As it maneuvered to pass, it struck a semi-truck head-on.

The crash happened at around 12:30 p.m.

The male driver sustained what are said to be life-threatening injuries. The female passenger had minor injuries. 

The infant also sustained injuries, but the MHP trooper at the scene did not say what those injuries were or the condition of the infant.

All three were taken to St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings.

Timothy Gibbs, 24 years old; Madison Mehan, 23; and their 3-year old daughter were involved in the crash.
