Rebuilding our life after Odile

Many have heard of the Hotel Posada Señor Mañana, the iconic little hotel in the center of San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, run by a lovely family made up of Hernan and Cinthya, their two little boys, and their cat. Some, like myself, have been lucky enough to have stayed there. It was my first home when I moved to Los Cabos, and a place of refuge in times of need ever since then.
Now my friends Hernan and Cinthya are in times of need. The hotel, which is also their home, was hard hit by Hurricane Odile on September 14. They lost everything, literally the roof over their heads. Not only that, but the damage was so devastating that they are unable to reopen the hotel in order to earn the money needed to rebuild. So I am writing this on behalf of some wonderful individuals who have aided so many people traveling to this little corner of Mexico, and who are now in need of aid from all of you.
Señor Mañana urgently needs funds to rebuild the parts of its structure, including roofs, that were lost completely to Odile’s hurricane-force winds; to repair and clean those areas that suffered damage when flood waters surged through the hotel to the height of two meters; and to replace all of the furniture, bedding, appliances, and so forth, that were left unusable by this storm.
