Nepal earthquake relief appeal

Nepal still needs help!
Despite media attention moving away from Nepal, the country is in need of help now more than ever. The monsoon season is underway, and fragile land surfaces are washing away villages and roads through landslides. Many communities are isolated and only accessible by helicopter and the true extent of the damage has not been fully realised. The industrious people of Nepal need support to help them rebuild their country.
I've been raising money through busking in my home town of Ormskirk and have managed to raise and send £400 to my Nepalese friends who are co ordinating the relief themselves and have provided details for every penny that was sent over.
It’s fed 35 families who are still sleeping under plastic sheets because their houses are destroyed. Some of them have babies as young as 3 months old.
It has helped to pay for medical treatment for Raju Bhujel. Raju is a farmer from the Gorkha district whos home was destroyed in the earthquake. Raju supports his two elderly parents, two children and also his wife who has a severe spinal injury. The money paid for Raju to have a steel rod inserted to support his spinal cord which will allow him to continue to support his family.
The money has also provided stationary and learning materials for children to continue their education in temporary learning facilities.
I'm hoping to raise even more money now people can see the direct impact their money will have.
Please give what you can and 'share' this effort via social media and emails to continue to help these people who desperately need it.
