St Andrews Children Hospice

We are a group of NCS participants who have chosen, as part of our social action plan, to raise money and awareness of St Andrews Children’s Hospice in Grimsby to help improve the lives of sick children with life limiting illnesses.

St Andrews approached us as part of the NCS programme and told us all that they are about and all that they stand for. We were all amazed by all of the wonderful work that all the staff and volunteers do to help the children in their care who have life limiting illnesses to improve their quality of life by making every day as good as it can be, even though their days may be limited.

We are helping out in the St Andrew’s charity shop and we are also doing fundraising to go towards the high running costs or the hospice and the specialists equipment needed for the children in their care. All of us in our NCS group are making the trip up to Grimsby to go visit the children in the care of St Andrew’s to have a fun day with them and have a great time with them. We are also setting up this donation page for people unable to attend any of our fundraising events around and about.
