Hello All! 

My name is Deanna. I love children! I started babysitting at the age of 11, at 12 I got my babysitting licence and for the next 7 years I cared for children around my neighbourhood. At 20 I completed college and earned an honours certificate in early childhood education, now I work at a wonderful daycare!!...again, I love children! Caring for children has been my life and I always thought I would have a large family. When I met my husband I knew he was the man I wanted to start a family with. Three months before we were married we found out that my husband-to-be has Azoospermia. (long word short, its a sperm count of zero)  This discovery was heartbreaking for us both. What followed then was lots of tests! Rather unpleasant tests! (Let just say I use to be deathly afraid of needles..now not so much) Shortly after we were married we spent our first ever trip together visiting doctors, of course, because we live in a small northern town of british columbia we had to travel to Vancouver to visit fertility specialists and urologists.  So after three trips to Vancouver, tons of tests, hotel rooms and two surgeries we now know the only way we can possibly have a child together is a procedure called In vitro fertilization (IVF) Which is mega expensive!  My husband and I have been married over two years now and with all the doctor trips we have made our funds are tapped, we just cant afford the procedure. It would take years to save that much money if we did it alone! So im asking for help. To me, its worth a shot! We need to raise 7,000$ for the procedure alone! 3,000$ for the medications id have to take. I didnt even include hotels, airfare and lost wages...eek. They say it takes a community to raise a child and Im taking that to heart right now and begging this community to help me! I am counting my pennys until I reach this goal and ANY help would mean the world to my husband and I. Thank you.
