Special Olympics World Games


I am writing to ask for your support. I have committed myself to achieve this goal and raise funds so I can compete in the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games, July 25 through August 2, 2015. Seven thousand atheletes from 179 countries will be competing in 16 sports. The Team USA delegation consists of 300 athelets and 36 coaches from all over the nation, making it one of the largest delegations in attendance.  I am 1 of 14 atheletes selected from Texas. I am also the only one ever chosen from Mesquite, TX to go to the World Games.  The positive impact it will have on my life  and the lives of many others with intellectual disabilities will last a lifetime.

The cost of this trip  will be $3,500.00 and I need your help to reach it! I am asking if you will make a donation in my name, Matthew Hernandez. so that I may participate in this once in a life time event. Any amount will be appreciated.  It all goes to a wonderful cause, and every bit gets me that much closer to my goal.
