Supporting Zack Borsboom's Recovery

On Friday, February 3rd, our friend and teammate suffered a serious head injury during a Hanover Tache Junior Hockey game in Sanford. Zack was rushed to hospital by ambulance and underwent emergency surgery due to head trauma. Zack’s overall prognosis is good, however he has a long road to recovery. Zack will require frequent trips to Winnipeg to attend doctor’s appointments and therapy. Due to the extent of his injuries, he will be unable to drive or work for the unforeseeable future.

The Macdonald Swarm Hockey team is organizing this GoFund Me page for our teammate, to help alleviate some of the financial burden on him and his family. The funds raised will be used to help with expenses for gas, food, parking and other incidentals which will add up quickly, due to his frequent treatments and appointments. The funds will also assist with living costs as Zack will be off work until he is well enough to return.
