Rebuild Churches Destroyed by Arson
Donation protected
Friends,
I am saddened to see reports of predominantly black churches being burned recently in Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, and possibly other neighboring states. I am primarily relying on reporting by The Atlantic, though you may find other sources that have reported on these fires.
The Atlantic
I believe that God will provide these churches with what they need to rebuild, and I'm asking you to help me prove it.
Any money that is raised from this effort will go straight to the affected churches in as fair a manner as I can determine; I appreciate any input you may have on an equitable process. I am asking for $100,000 and I'm betting on more (I'm not gambling, Reverends, just using an expression!).
Please help me spread this around; let's show our Southern friends how much we love and stand by them in this particularly trying time.
If I get any response at all, I will begin contacting the pastors and church officials to see how we can help. I will do my best to verify (through police and fire department reports) that the money is getting to the right communities.
If you're not familiar with this site, you may want to know that you can donate anonymously. Many thanks, God bless, and wish us luck!

P.S. I searched for similar campaigns and didn't immediately find any; I'll close this down and redirect if there are more organized efforts underway, or if I think this won't be helping the overall cause.
