Flood Damage Repair to Home
Donation protected
June 15, 2015 late in the evening a storm hit the area. Downpour caused sewers to back up, storm drains, that were to have been cleaned and fixed so that nothing like this could happen, overflowed and sent water cascading down into homes, including mine. Between the sewer back up and drain water, the basement filled completely. Insurance and the government entities have said there is nothing they can do. That leaves replacing washer, dryer, hot water heater, possibly the furnace and clean up and dry-wall removal expense to be carried by myself.
The funds requested are only part of what will ultimately be needed. This is to just get started on the clean up and rebuild. Now that the water is finally drained and a bit of drying has occurred, it's time to get to work.
