Always the giver...now she needs YOU.

This past Christmas, after being airlifted to Emory Hospital, life as Wyllie Valencia McGruder knew it was forever changed. What appeared to be the need for painful wisdom teeth extractions turned into what is now Valencia's fight for her life. A diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia, three rounds of chemotherapy, isolation from the world that she knows and loves, and she's still able to smile in spite of it all.

Despite mounting medical bills, in grace, she has chosen to boldly fight that which is trying to destroy her body, spirit, and marriage. But GOD!! HE has her covered and loved by her brave husband, Chris, uplifted and reassured by friends and family, and unwaivering faith that God is a healer! With such resilience, courage, and humility, Valencia has decided to give her all and encourage others through her battle.

As her family, friends, colleagues, witnesses of her warm heart, and empathetic strangers, I am asking that we come together and lighten the financial burden that has already begun to haunt Valencia and Chris. Medical bills are mounting, a mortgage remains, and help is truly needed. Please give something to the beautiful spirit that would indeed give you her last.
