Caring for Colby

Let’s help Colby….on Thursday April 20, 2017 Colby Harris started experiencing severe neck pain and feeling lethargic. The following morning, he began having decreased motor function in his extremities. The MRI showed that he has a large mass growing inside his spinal cord from C2-C6, and it has caused paralysis. He is currently at Memorial Hermann downtown Houston in the Neuro ICU. They will be doing a biopsy this week to determine what the mass actually is and to determine what treatment is needed. He will be out of work indefinitely at this point and has a very long road ahead of him. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated and used towards medical expenses as well as help to support his family during this time.

 

If you don’t know Colby, let me tell you how great this guy is. Colby is an athletic trainer currently for Humble ISD and previously for Aldine ISD. He has been working enthusiastically in this profession for over 10 years facilitating athletes to recover from their sports injuries. You won’t meet a more compassionate and hard- working person supporting injured athletes. He is loved by all who meet him, and you couldn’t ask for a better friend than what you’ll find in him.
