Westview Community Mutual Aid Network

Donation protected
The WHS Community Mutual Aid Network grew out of the impromptu food drive setup by teachers, staff, and community volunteers in the wake of the COVID-19 school shutdown. We were ale to deliver groceries to around 36 families, and 101 kids. Because of the massive support that everyone showed, organizers have been able to regroup and create a more efficient system for supporting our families in need.

The mutual aid network seeks to provide resources and logistics to willing volunteers to support Westview families with groceries, toiletries, deliveries, and any other emergency support possible. While we cannot guarantee that our entire community will get everything they need, we can do our best to ease the burdens of this prolonged shutdown. We will continue support as long as we have resources and willing volunteers.

Please understand that we are a group of teachers, staff, and parents from the Westview community doing our best. We are not partnered or affiliated with the Beaverton School District, Westview High School, or Beaverton Education Association.

In the event that Westview Community Mutual Aid Network has leftover resources and unspent money, everything will be donated to Westview High School's Cat Cave.

Thank you for all of your support!
