Funeral expenses

My Dad Donald passed away at 2:11am on Thanksgiving Day.

My Dad tested positive for Covid on 11/2. My Dad was admitted to the hospital on 11/7 after falling during the night and having to call for help to get him up but as stubborn as he was he waited till later in the morning to let us call the squad back to take him to hospital. He fought everyday to get better and had good days and bad days. His lungs were just too damaged to recover. We made the decision to keep him comfortable and let nature take its course. He was not in pain and knew everyone that called him throughout the day.

Due to Covid restrictions he wasn’t allowed visitors and the hospital made one accommodation and they allowed my Mom to visit and sit with him for an hour on Wednesday.

Anyone who knew my Dad knew how much he loved the Yankees. Our spare room where he spent most of the day watching tv and playing on the computer after he finally retired a few years ago was filled with Yankee items.

We are asking for help to cover funeral expenses, household expenses and any medical expenses that we may have from my Dads hospital stay. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
