Our Catholic School, St. Agatha Catholic Academy, is closing this year on June 12th after serving the community since 1893. Our student body is all African American youth, mostly non-Catholic, who will hopefully go on to excel at other Catholic schools. As pastor of the school, I want to give each student and staff member, as a parting gift, a hardbound copy of the new Catholic Youth Bible specifically designed for African American youth. It will be our way of giving them something that they will not only cherish as a remembrance of St. Agatha, but use in the months and years to come.

Any excess monies will be given to the Catholic schools where our students will move to in order to help defray their tuition costs.
