Support Troy Sherrer

Friends - if you are reading this, it's because you love Troy as much as his family does. Troy is in a fight for his life. He has end-stage liver disease and his liver and kidneys are failing. The doctors tell us there's not much they can do and that he may have months or even weeks left. Troy is a fighter and so are we, so we refuse to give up hope yet!
Troy has been in and out of the hospital in Anchorage since the end of March, with this current stint lasting a month and counting. We are hopeful he'll be well enough to move to an assisted living facility and bounce back. We are also preparing in case it's hospice care he'll require.
Word cannot express what our hearts feel for everyone of you who has said prayers, sent love, called, emailed, visited or just kept Troy and our family in your thoughts. There are even people who have never met Troy holding prayer chains for him. We graciously ask that you continue this - he needs all the prayers and love you can give right now!
We are trying to gather funds to help pay for Troy's medical costs, possible post-hospital care and to fulfill his final wishes, if it comes to that. The money will also be used to help his immediate family travel to Anchorage to be with him and support us while we're with him.
We thank you all for everything you have done and continue to do to support Troy. We consider you all part of our family and feel lifted up by your love. We are all better people for knowing Troy - so please join us in our fight to support him!
