There are few things more terrifying than waking up in sharp excruciating pain that lands you in the Emergency Room with a colon that has exploded. After surgery, unfortunately, cancer was found. This is what happened to Allan Smith three weeks ago. His life has been turned upside down!
Why a GO FUND ME page? He has no medical insurance to cover this illness. The hospital said they will not start treating cancer with chemotherapy until he has medical insurance. He is currently applying for Medicaid, but due to the virus, there is a skeleton staff to address this emergency. They are believing in a miracle and so am I.
The doctor visits keep coming, and each one has to be paid out of pocket which is costing thousands of dollars. If we could help him out until he gets the needed medical insurance, I am confident that we can give him much needed relief.
Allan is strong! He is a man of determination and grit. He will beat this cancer, and he will stand strong.
Allan has a heart of gold! He and his girlfriend, Suzanne Holden, bring her daughter to my farm for equine therapy. He noticed that my barn rooves were in terrible shape. Without any prompting from me, he brought his many friends over and replaced the rooves with no payment. As most people know, owning a horse farm is expensive and this helped me and my horses tremendously. That's Allan, always helping others.
That is not all that Allan does. He belongs to a great service called Hogs for Heroes. He welcomes all military personnel with a hero’s welcome with his roaring Harley. One of the families that attends equine therapy at my farm could not afford Christmas for their four special needs children. I told Allan that Christmas was going to be hard for them. He got his Hogs for Heroes buddies together adopted them with Allan being Santa Claus. Four brand new bikes, helmets, toys, clothes, shoes, school supplies, and gift cards to the local market, and Walmart were given two days before Christmas. We filled up my horse trailer to the brim with all of the gifts and delivered them to these precious children. With Allan playing Santa on his Harley. He changed those children’s lives and mine. He is selfless to a fault. No one is going to suffer if Allan knows about it.
I am imploring all to help this HERO! Any donation, small or large will be greatly appreciated. If he knew that I set this up, he would probably be upset, because heroes don't to be rescued. He doesn't, he just needs a helping hand in this time of need.
Thanks for reading Allan's story!
