Theta Chi UK - New House Fundraiser
Donation protected
When the University of Kentucky Zeta Rho Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity was re-colonized in 2010, we wanted to be different while still impacting our surrounding community immensely. We wanted to break stereotypes, to help those around us through philanthropy and community service, and at the same time ensure our growth through brotherhood and a network of support.
Almost five years later, after being recognized as a top three Chapter of Theta Chi internationally with the Howard R. Alter Jr. Award for Chapter Excellence and the singular top Chapter on UK’s campus with the Dean’s Cup, we believe wholeheartedly that our efforts are paying off. We take pride in the fact that Theta Chi is the choice made by students who are serious not only about their studies but also about taking every opportunity to become better men while in college.
With however far we’ve come, there is still always room for improvement and growth. One amazing opportunity to improve has presented itself, and we are extremely excited to officially announce that beginning in the Fall 2015 Semester Zeta Rho will inhabit its first Chapter House since the 1990s.
Such an investment obviously comes at a cost. It is our hope that with a multi-faceted capital campaign including nonprofit fundraising work, alumni interactivity, and even this very gofundme page, we can ease the increased cost on members and provide the furnishings and other requirements to create a comfortable and welcoming home for our Chapter. Any and all help is greatly appreciated, we look forward to seeing what the future holds for us here on campus.
