The Lunchbox Project (2014-15)
It may or may not surprise you to learn that some of our local children get most of their caloric intake during school hours. This means they go hungry in the evenings, on snow days, on weekends, and during school breaks. While we cannot control what goes on outside of school, we can do our best to make sure these children are not hungry at school.
The goal of the Lunchbox Project is to make sure the kids at Wise Primary School are able eat as much as they need to fill their little bellies. Whether or not they qualify for free lunch, we want to make sure every child can eat a full meal at breakfast AND lunch as well as any "extras" the child needs to feel satisfied.
Our school district does everything in its power to feed those children in need but they are subject to budgetary restrictions and government regulations. With your help, the Lunchbox Project can fill the gaps! Every little bit helps and your donation is tax deductible. Let's work together to FEED OUR KIDS!
