On the morning of Tuesday, January 28th, 2020 a fire took place at The Bakery in Blooming Prairie, MN that changed our father's life. The fire was devastating and it completely destroyed the building and all equipment within.
The Bakery was not just a place of work for our dad. It was his dream come true. Over the past 24 years, he established a business that played a role in numerous lives by providing birthday cakes and wedding cakes to holiday treats to a morning doughnut run.
Although the future of The Bakery is not certain, we decided to create this GoFundMe to help off set some of the financial burden. The cost of the building demolition alone is over $100,000.
Since that Tuesday morning, our dad has been surrounded with support and has been comforted by the community. We are so thankful that there has been such an out pour from long time costumers and community members to support our dad.
