Taylor's Heart Transplant Fund

Hello.  This fund is for the daughter of our family friends Tavaris & Sha'Raye Jeffries.   Little Taylor Jeffries was born on May 8, 2015.  As you can imagine, the Jeffries' family was full of so much excitement and joy.  Both parents were excited to have their little princess in their lives and could not wait to spoil her.  However, Taylor developed some issues and it was discovered that her little heart was not working correctly.  Tests were performed and Taylor was diagnosed with a condition known as "Left Ventricular Non-Compaction Cardiomyopathy" or "LVNC."  Essentially the left side of Taylor's heart has abnormalities and is not pumping correctly.  The right side is working double to pick up the slack and keep blood flowing.  Taylor is a fighter and strong just like her mommy and daddy, however Taylor must receive a heart transplant in order to survive.  Once she receives a heart transplant, she will have to be on medication the rest of her life.  Luckily this condition was caught and Taylor has been added to the heart transplant waiting list in a priority status.

In order to facilitate the transplant and the critical care that Taylor needs (and will need in the future), Taylor was transported to Children's Medical Center in Dallas, TX.  Tavaris, Sha'Raye, and their son Nicholas have had to move to Dallas, TX from Shreveport, LA as Taylor's journey will be a long and hard one.  

As parents of a little one admitted into the hospital, the only things on a parent's mind should be being strong for their sick child and making the best decisions for Taylor's health while trying to raise Nicholas at the same time.  Obviously, this will be a pretty hefty financial burden on the family now and in the future.  

Please, if you have it in your heart and have the ability would you please donate a little something to help lessen the burden on the family?  Any amount, however small or large, will help the family.  100% of everything raised by this fund will go directly to the Jeffries family to put towards Taylor's medical care.

Lastly, if you could please say a prayer for Taylor that the Lord continues to watch over her, give her the strength to fight on, and to bless her family in this trying time.
