FUNDRAISING FOR A SWING FOR ALI.D

My name is Ali.D. I am 14 years old. I was born with Mitochondrial disorder which means I have weak muscle tone and I am confined to a wheelchair. I also suffer with scoliosis and I may have to undergo an operation soon to try fix my scoliosis. I am non verbal but I am very good at letting people know what I want. My biggest wish would be to have my very own swing and I would love to have this before I undergo my operation.

I live in Callan, Co. KIlkenny. Unfortunately there is no wheelchair friendly playgrounds for me to use in Kilkenny which is very disappointing. I was devastated when I realised the wheelchair swing was not going to be installed in the upgrade of the Kilkenny Castle playground.  I would really appreciate if you could help Lisa and my family raise funds to get me a swing for my back garden. Having a swing would mean the world to me as it helps with my sensory needs and most importantly it makes me happy. 

Lisa Buckley will be looking after the fundraiser and all the donations for this campaign on behalf of Ali. D and his family. Once the target has been reached Lisa will withdraw the funds to her account and order the swing, Ali. D will also be presented with a cheque of the total amount raised.
