Thank you for being here and expressing your love and support for our beautiful mother.
Julia sadly passed away on August 15th in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. This has come as a huge shock to our family because we were so excited to see the progress that she was making over the past month.
She picked up a virus on a Tuesday, by Friday her blood pressure was very low, on Saturday night she started to have breathing complications, and on Sunday afternoon she passed away from pneumonia. It all happened so quickly. It still doesn't feel real.
Thank you for the incredible support that you have given us during this time. Your generosity and heartfelt messages brought our family so much hope and encouragement during extremely difficult times. You helped Julia to live her life fully right up until her last moments, and for that we are so grateful.
We will continue to keep this fundraiser open to help with some of our costs since mums passing. Her treatment in total cost $126,000. Thanks to your incredible support we raised $90,000 through this fundraiser.
We poured our families savings into trying to help our Mum overcome this illness and because of that we live with no regrets because we did all that we could.
We have changed the fundraising goal to €88,000, which leaves us with just under €12,000 to raise.
This fundraiser will help go toward the costs for bringing our Mum back to Ireland and arranging her funeral.
