Sootys Lockdown Walk

Sooty is my 8 year old Cairn terrier and he was so impressed by the achievement of Capt. Tom Moore, he volunteered (I use the term loosely!!) to walk to raise money for the National Animal Welfare Trust.   I will accompany him, of course, and we plan to do 2 circuits of our local field per day - about 2 kilometres.   We are aiming for a total of 84 circuits as this is the total of our ages at our next birthdays. 
Sooty did not have a very good start in life - he lived next door and had
a very lonely existence in an outside pen for a year before he came to live with us.
We chose the NAWT as they are local to us and we have rehomed 1 cat and 2  dogs from there in the past and we know times are difficult for them at the present time.
We are currently 'in training' and start our challenge on 1st May 2020.
It will take 6 weeks.
