Sheila van Deinse passed away peacefully on July 3rd after a long battle with cancer. During her last few months, despite her medical conditions, it was her determination for a normal life that compelled her to attempt to return to work in June. She was a trooper and smiled through the pain. Now Sheila will smile down from some place better.
Sheila has touched many in her life with her big heart, awesome personality, and a smile that could light up a room. She was a wonderful person who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. As an avid soccer player and friend in the Seattle aviation community, she will be missed.
The van Deinse family is devastated by this loss and is in need of financial help with Sheila's significant medical costs and final expenses.
Per Sheila's wishes any donations in excess will be donated in Sheila's name to her hometown Willamette High School girls soccer team so that her passion and love for soccer will live on through others.
