Sending Off Ethan Jeffcoat

Donation protected
In 2012 at the age of 9, Ethan Jeffcoat was diagnosed with Adrenoleukodystrophy  , a very rare genetic brain disease. The doctors expected him to live only a year, but Ethan defied odds. His mother Robyn cared for him 24/7, assisted by Ethan’s father Daryl and brothers Grant and Wyatt. The Napa Valley community rallied around this dear family for the duration of Ethan’s adolescence.

On Thursday April 9, 2020 at 3:07pm, Ethan lost his battle with ALD and gained his angel wings. The family is grieving the loss of their littlest one but know he is finally free and watching over all of us!

A community-wide celebration of life (“really big ass party”, as Robyn says) will be planned for the fall as well as an intimate family gathering to bury Ethan in St. Helena.

The immediate needs are for the Jeffcoats to pay for cremation and a headstone for Ethan. The family is so grateful for all of the support and love over the years. Thank you: we never could have made it through this without all of you!
