Our family of 6 left with no home from tornado

Hello everyone my name is Amber and I ask you to take a few minutes and hear our heartbreaking story. A little over 2 years ago my three sons (2 with disabilities)and I moved to Texas. Since moving here our lives drastically changed for the better! I after some time started a relationship and we even added our newest addition Kaidyn last year on New Years! However, Monday March 21, 2022 a tornado tore through Sherwood Shores community and shredded several homes apart. We had absolutely no warning. Our home along with large camper and two cabins on our property were completely destroyed. Nothing left but devastation!
My oldest Eric(10) was in my room with me doing homework while Jaemon(8), Antonio(4)& Kaidyn(1) were in the living room playing with toys. Our electric started flickering and as I yelled to the kids get your shoes I looked out the window and saw what seemed like an angry tunnel of the strongest and roughest rain/hail in form of a tornado come thru our yard. Parts of our home flipped twice and the other part completely clasped. Eric and I were ejected from the house about 20 feet. Jaemon, Antonio and Kaidyn were all trapped under walls, cabinets and other debris. In just a matter of seconds our lives drastically changed forever!
As I came to and realized what happened shock and gut wrenching fear kicked in. It took several minutes of panic and fear of not finding my son’s before we finally heard crying and responses to me screaming for them. By far one of the most traumatic parts  of this for me was fearing I wouldn’t find my children, my babies who are my sunshines, my world! My son Eric felt the fear to as he helped me climb and yell for his brothers he amazed me as he stepped up and helped get in where I was unable to get each one of his brothers out. He was a true hero! Only by the Grace of God were we able to get out! We all were taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries bumps bruises and one sprained ankle. God truly worked a miracle not just for us but for so many that horrifying evening. Out of our community and those affected one elderly woman didn’t make it out may she rest in heavenly peace! Please help in anyway you can every donation makes a difference!! Please help us on our journey of getting a place we can once again call home! We are thankful for every single one of you standing by our side, for all of your prayers and support! The Lord says he loves a cheerful giver, and so do weThank you! Please share our story. Again from my family to yours Thank you and God bless.
