Prayers For Bentley

At approximately 1:00 PM yesterday afternoon (April 9, 2015) Bentley James Bahr suffered severe head trauma at the hands of a caregiver ( and I must note that this was not his usual daycare provider!) while his mother, Ashley was at school.

I have spoken to Ashley this morning and she told me that his prognosis does not look good.  Ashley is a single mother who has gone back to school in hopes to be able to provide a better life for Bentley. This sweet baby boy is her entire world.

I have also been in contact with Bentley's Grandmother, Tammy, who is the BEST friend that I have made since moving to South Dakota.  She is where she is needed right now... with Ashley and Bentley.  When I asked her if there was anything I could do, she said yes.  So, I am going to do everything I can.

All funds raised here will go to help offset medical costs and costs of future care for Bentley. 

If the Lord chooses to call Bentley home, then the funds will be used for Funeral and Burial expenses.

It just ripped my heart apart typing that last sentence.
