Great progress has been made on renovations to the dam at Camp Powhatan on the Blue Ridge Scout Reservation.
The spillway of the dam is currently undergoing an estimated $ 250,000 worth of critical repairs in order to be able to open the camp and host Boy Scouts this summer. Thanks to the many corporate and private donors who have contributed to-date, the construction effort is well underway. However, the Boy Scouts still need your donations in order to complete this vital project, without having to downgrade other important programs.
Think back to the amazing days of summer camps of the past. Let's KEEP THE TRADITION GOING by completing this project in time for this year's summer camp season.
On behalf of the Blue Ridge Mountains Council , Boy Scouts of America THANK YOU for you support !
